To help you plan with confidence, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about the cost of overnight dog boarding.
What’s Included in Overnight Dog Boarding?
While each facility varies, dog boarding usually involves an overnight stay with meals, bedding, and professional care. At K9 Heaven, our overnight guests also enjoy daily access to our leading doggy daycare. Here, your pal will be introduced to a pack based on their size and temperament. During the day, they will enjoy daily pack runs, enrichment activities, and plenty of socialisation opportunities. Your dog will also receive three nutritious meals a day, soothing baths, and plenty of cuddles. For additional luxury, we also offer a unique boujee boarding experience where your pal will be treated to an exclusive, fully furnished suite, additional walks and playtime, and an optional upgrade to a raw human meat menu.
The Cost of Dog Boarding Explained
While the cost of dog boarding entirely depends on the facility, services, and location, here’s a breakdown of our current dog boarding rates at K9 Heaven:
Standard Boarding (per night)
- One dog: $64 per night
- Two dogs: $110 per night
Gold Card Rates (per night)
- One dog: $46 per night
- Two dogs: $94 per night
Late Checkout
- One dog: $54 per late checkout
During peak periods (public holidays, Easter, Christmas, and New Year’s), an extra $15 per dog per day applies.
Trial Days
Before we welcome new guests into our overnight boarding, they will need to attend a trial day. This process ensures each pup is well-suited to the environment and there are no problems that could put other dogs or your pet at risk. Trial days also help us assess your dog’s temperament, energy level, and social style so we can introduce them to the right pack.
A trial day at K9 Heaven costs $65 per dog. Trial days are by appointment only, and there is a limited number of spaces available. Trial days run from before 10 am with a pickup after 3 pm.
