Location
K9 Heaven is located in West Massey, just 20 minutes (by car) from Auckland’s CBD. We’re also a 10-minute drive from the NorthWest Shopping Centre making it a convenient choice. As you drive along Sunnyvale Road, you’ll notice signs for K9 Heaven. Turn into the driveway and follow the road to our reception area where you’ll be greeted by our friendly team.
Facilities
At K9 Heaven, we’ve invested in top-notch facilities to ensure your dog’s safety, comfort, and enjoyment. Over the last two years, we’ve undergone a complete renovation to ensure a smooth experience for all. Our facilities are designed with dogs in mind; offering a clean, spacious environment with a home-like atmosphere. From cosy indoor areas to expansive outdoor spaces, every inch is carefully thought out to create a comfortable space where your doggo can thrive.
Reception
As you arrive, the first thing you’ll notice is our welcoming reception area. Our friendly team are always on hand to greet you and your dog. The reception is where you’ll check your pup in and ask any questions you may have. We offer a quick and easy check-in process to ensure a seamless experience.
Indoor Areas
While we prioritise outdoor adventure, our indoor areas allow your dog to unwind and escape the rain. Each of our indoor spaces is climate-controlled for year-round comfort. Just like our yards, we group dogs depending on their size and temperament. For example, small, medium and large dogs will have their own dedicated area with size-appropriate toys.
Inside our centre, we also have a crated area that we use for mealtime. This ensures that your dog can enjoy their meal in a secure space where they don’t have to guard their food from other doggos. Once they have finished their meal, they’ll be free to continue their adventures.
Yards
Our expansive yards are where the magic happens. With plenty of space for dogs to play, and interact, our yards are designed for both fun and relaxation. Whether your dog loves to chase balls, splash in water, explore new scents, or simply lounge in the sun, there’s a spot for them to enjoy. We have multiple yards to accommodate dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring that every pup has a safe and fun experience. Each yard is specifically designed for different packs. For example, smaller dogs have access to their own yard for comfort and safety.
10-Acre Farm
The highlight of K9 Heaven is our sprawling 10-acre farm – a paradise for dogs to explore. This expansive outdoor area is perfect for dogs who need plenty of space to run and roam. From forests to open fields, there’s no shortage of adventure here. For dogs who love water, our farm also features ponds that are perfect for a summer paddle. Whether it’s sniffing through tall grass or playing fetch across the fields, our farm is an asset to our centre offering endless fun and freedom
So, how does it work? Bigger dogs who respond to recall will have access to the full 10 acres, while smaller dogs and dogs who do not yet respond to recall have access to a smaller one-acre section which includes a popular mud pool – don’t worry though, we’ll make sure your pal returns home mud-free. Farm adventures are organised at specific times of the day with packs of similar-sized dogs. While the dogs are free to roam, they are supervised at all times by our dog-loving team. After their exciting farm adventure, they will also receive a thorough physical check to ensure they are free from any sticks, foliage, or unexpected mishaps.
Overnight Boarding
For dogs who need more than just a day of daycare, K9 Heaven offers overnight boarding services. Our overnight guests enjoy the same level of care, comfort, and attention as our daytime visitors. They’ll also join our doggy daycare during the day for fun adventures and safe socialisation. At night, each dog has their own designated sleeping area, complete with cosy bedding and plenty of human love.
Boujee Boarding
If you want to give your dog something extra special, our Boujee Boardig gives them access to their very own bedroom which is designed to look and feel just like home with an adult-sized bed, rugs, plants and plenty of toys. There is also cosy dog bedding and a few extra treats to help your pal settle in.
Dog Grooming Area
Every dog deserves a little luxury, which is why we’ve dedicated a special pamper room just for that. Run by external professional dog groomers, our centre is equipped with everything your dog needs to feel refreshed and rejuvenated. All of our daycare doggos will receive a nice bath after their adventures. Regular grooming sessions including trimming/clipping, nail triming and ear plucking are available at an additional cost.
